What is an Emergency?

 

An Emergency is an instance of a mobile user of https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/682983431, https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/682786888, https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/682983458, or https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/682885139 requesting assistance (https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/685441052 ).

Why do I need to provide Emergency Response?

Emergency Response is needed to help keep you https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/659587354 and https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/665845907 safe. You do not need to provide it.

Providing Emergency Response

When users of a mobile app https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/685441052 it will become visible in https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/675250500 and in https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/682786888 for logged in Responders with the correct Service.

Assigning, Aborting, and Monitoring the Emergency

SRM-Portal will automatically switch to https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/683114501 where the user can identify the request and assign or abort the request.

  1. In the Emergency Detail panel select a qualified responder and click Assign

  2. Alternatively the request can be aborted if it was raised in error.

The details and map will be updated in real-time as the Responder transitions through the response.

 

Resolving an Emergency Request

In https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/682786888 qualified https://securityrisk.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHD/pages/665616584 will be notified when a request is in initiated.

They can Accept or Decline.

If the task has been assigned to them they will need to approve or deny the assignment.

Once accepted the phone will move into Emergency mode and they can focus on providing assistance.

The Responder will need to verify when they are:

  • On site

  • Safe on site

  • Made visual contact

  • Person is safe

  • Issue resolved

 

If the Responder makes a mistake they can go back to the previous state.
